About Us
Oak Hill was planted in Quarryville in 2008 by a group of about 17 people who had a vision to see a church in Solanco that was marked by passionate worship, bold preaching, fervent prayer, purposeful discipleship, courageous evangelism, and strategic church planting. Pastor Nate Newell planted the church alongside Ben Miller who served as the worship leader until 2014 when Pastor Nate was called to pastor in Malaysia. At that time, Pastor Ben transitioned to become the lead pastor.
Beginning in Quarryville, we moved 4 times in 15 years, until finding our current location at 1 W. 4th Street in Quarryville. We remain committed to helping people in the greater Solanco area and beyond see the glory of Jesus and be transformed by him as his disciples. In 2018, Oak Hill joined the Great Commission Collective for the purpose of church planting, purposeful relationships, training, and accountability. This is the same church planting network to which both our sending church and founding pastor's church belongs and we look forward to how God will use this partnership to continue building his church. We believe that God wants to work through his church to display his incredible wisdom, and he desires to see the gospel proclaimed, believers established in the faith, leaders raised up, and new churches planted. We are excited about how God will continue to do this in the years to come in and through Oak Hill!
